Meet Timothy Schultz
Timothy Schultz is a Powerball lottery winner, media personality, and host of the popular podcast Lottery, Dreams & Fortune. In 1999, at just 21 years old, he became one of the youngest Powerball jackpot winners in history.
Following his win, Timothy returned to college to study journalism and broadcast news, developing a deeper interest in storytelling and media. Over the years, his unusual experience led him to meet and interview fellow lottery winners, individuals who have overcome extraordinary odds, and experts who study intuition, mindset, and human potential.
Today, Timothy hosts Lottery, Dreams & Fortune, where he explores the fascinating stories behind life-changing moments. Through conversations with lottery winners, scientists, attorneys, financial experts, and thought leaders, he explores the role of intuition, belief, and unexpected opportunity in life-changing moments.
A Dream Before the Win
Three months before winning the Powerball jackpot, Timothy experienced a vivid dream that he had already won the lottery. The dream left such a strong impression that it shaped the way he thought about intuition and possibility.
That experience sparked a lifelong curiosity about the mysterious moments that sometimes precede extraordinary events. Today, Timothy explores these themes with guests from many backgrounds, discussing luck, mindset, intuition, and the surprising ways people sometimes defy the odds.
Media Presence
Timothy Schultz’s unique story and perspective have made him a sought-after guest in national and international media. His journey and insights have been featured in The New York Times, BBC, CNN, Good Morning America, Fox News, Business Insider, the TODAY Show, Inside Edition, and TLC.
Through these appearances, Timothy shares his firsthand experience as a lottery winner, offering insights into what it’s like to win, how sudden wealth can change lives, and the fascinating stories behind extraordinary fortune.
In Timothy Schultz’s own words:
Winning the lottery turns your life upside down. One day you are living a normal life and the next day the world suddenly knows your name. Over the years I have met many other winners, and their stories are endlessly fascinating to me.
What surprised me is how different their experiences can be. Some talk about intuition or dreams before their win. Others describe the social and psychological changes that follow sudden wealth. Watching how their stories compare to my own has always been deeply interesting to me.
That curiosity is what led me to start my podcast. Through these conversations I enjoy exploring the unusual moments that sometimes appear before life-changing events, and the surprising ways people adapt after their lives change overnight.
