The resurrection is upon us! I’m excited to announce the return of the Mile High Horror Film Festival! I founded the MHHFF in 2010. What started out as a small, meager festival hosting a handful of the best horror films we could find, quickly ballooned into one of the largest genre film festivals in North America.
Our previous festival hosted countless sold-out shows, over 90 films from several different countries, and special guests such as Jack Black, Dylan Minnette, and Tobin Bell among many others.
The Mile High Horror Film Festival is making a return after a brief pause in programming. The demand for its return has been incredible and I’m thrilled to announce our new dates!
The next MHHFF will be held May 7-10, 2020 at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Littleton, Colorado with single screenings beginning now.
Some of you may be wondering why we’ve chosen May for the festival rather than October as usual. We did this because we think it’s best for the fans. There are so many Halloween themed events and genre festivals across the country in October; we want to spread things out a bit. Horror movie season is not solely in the fall, and I am confident that we will still have an enormous turnout. In fact, I won’t be surprised if it’s our largest festival to date.
Having said that, I encourage anyone interested in attending the MHHFF to join the festival’s mailing list to receive updates for when tickets go on sale. Passes will sell out and tickets typically go very quickly. Join the MHHFF mailing list here!
I’d like to also personally thank all of the fans and supporters of the MHHFF. We’re extremely excited to be returning and hope to see you at a screening soon!
