Author – Timothy Schultz
What would you do if you won the lottery? It’s a question contemplated by millions of hopeful players each week. The odds of winning are roughly 1 in 292 million, but eventually someone, somewhere always wins.
Author Timothy Schultz is one of those people. In 1999, he sold himself a winning Powerball ticket, while working at a gas station. At the age of 21, he became one of the youngest winners in history as his life was turned on its head.
In Timothy’s own words:
“Winning the lottery is one of the most life-altering things that can happen to a person; I’m thrilled to share my story. This book is about much more than the win itself or what I did with the money. The lottery can be a double-edged sword; both sides can be equally sharp. It’s drastically changed my relationships and propelled me on an unimaginable, wild journey.
You have a better chance of being crushed by a meteor than winning the lottery. Given that it’s so rare, I hope people can learn not only how it’s changed my life, but how the sudden wealth and fame that come with it can affect the human condition. All it takes to win is one lightning strike, but the repercussions reverberate for a lifetime.”
Timothy’s upcoming memoir, spans 20 years since winning the Powerball jackpot. It explores how winning has drastically affected his life, while giving practical advice and tips to others who play the lottery.
